RUSTIC BACK YARD GET AWAY

We were called in for consultation to design and transform a wooded, steep sloped back yard into a useable space for

entertaining friends and family. At the same time the customer wanted to use the natural rocks that were found on the property and keep the "woodsy, rustic feel." Starting by select cutting roughly an acre of very thick woods, and terracing the the back yard into five level areas. Building a two level paver patio acts as an extension from the existing deck and adds beauty as well as comfort pool side. Proper pruning of existing trees opened up the area for good sunlight and planting Green Giant Trees around the pool added additional privacy and separation from the front of the property. A variety of different sized river stone gravel was used around the fire-pit and some planting beds. This gave different textures to the back yard and tied together the natural stone with the paver and deck surfaces.  Finally we installed a sod grass back yard to add color and play space to this Rustic Back Yard Get Away.
